Swedish Massage

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layer of muscles especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes used as Swedish massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
Neuromuscular Massage
Neuromuscular therapy is also called trigger point myotherapy. This technique has emerged as a significant methodology for assessing, treating and preventing soft tissue injuries and chronic pain. The massage therapist will warm up the tissue with Swedish techniques before performing trigger point release techniques. Neuromuscular therapy consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on areas of muscle spasm.
