We aim to provide our clients the highest quality service and we pride ourselves on our exceptional staff. The majority of our clientele pre-book their future appointments when they leave the salon (booking 6-8 weeks in advance). This allows us to accommodate you around your optimal time. Many of our staff members have a waiting list. When a client fails to keep their appointment it takes away from another client that could have received services. We know that emergencies do arise, but as a courtesy, kindly give us 24 hours notice if you need to re-schedule. All No Shows and late cancellations will be charged full price, as salon scheduling time is lost. For gift certificates and series holders, a no-show/late cancellation will result in a 100% forfeiture. At The Blend we strive to work as a team and we value your patronage. Rest assured that if you are unable to reschedule with your preferred service provider, any of our team members will be more than happy to accommodate you.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow you a few minutes to relax and change into a chemical gown if needed. If you are more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, your appointment will be rescheduled. We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscience effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon. If time is critical to your schedule on a particular day, please make us aware of your schedule when scheduling your appointment.
In order for us to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere, we respectfully request you turn off or set your cell phone on silent when entering the salon. Please understand that a ringing cell phone during a service is a distraction from our work, which is providing you a relaxing and wonderful service!
We LOVE children… most of us even have a few. However, we ask that you make child care arrangements and not bring your children with you to your appointment unless they are receiving services. Many of our guests look forward to their salon experience as personal “pampering” time. Even the best behaved children are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (sharp scissors, hot irons, glass shelves, etc.). Please respect this policy, and accept our appreciation for your understanding. In return, when your child is receiving a service, we promise to see that no pesky grownups disrupt their experience!
We welcome walk-in customers, however if it is not convenient with our schedule you may have a waiting period or need to schedule an appointment. We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the salon so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule.
All Gift Certificate purchases are final. For freshness & hygiene reasons, we cannot accept any hair or skin care product returns.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, please let us know within 24 hours and we can schedule a correction within a week maximum from your original appointment date.
All fees for services rendered are expected upon completion of services. We will be more than happy to discuss all charges and fees. Considering that all services are individually priced, please request a total price prior to receiving services. If you should conclude that you are unable to pay for all your services, we will gladly reschedule your appointment. Please Note – Credit for salon services is not an option, including post dated checks. All checks will be deposited daily and any insufficient checks will incur a $25.00 service charge.
We accept cash, personal checks (with ID), The Blend gift certificates, Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. *Gratuities are graciously appreciated, but we ask that you handle those with your service provider as they are not included in our service prices.
